Just stunning … I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous bride at the Largo Car show a year ago… One thing I can say is this girl has true beauty outside and inside & is for sure one of the “hard to find” type of woman. It was an honor to help shoot her big day with my girl ❤️🥂

I had doubters with all of this.
I’d be lying if I said I’ve had continued support from everyone at all times.

I’ve cried a lot of tears for various reasons with this business. I’ve had mom guilt for wanting a career of my own. I’ve had weeks where I non stopped edited/worked. I’ve had NO MONEY to bet on and yet STILL jumped and took a chance and invested ( a lotttt ) … note: basically the first 2 years of a new company… you make money to simply invest. You breathe, eat and sleep your business to not profit, but to invest.

I’m grateful.
Humbled.
Ecstatic.
Proud.
And a tad tired lol…

Thank you again to everyone who’s worked with me, trusted me, supported me… I truly cannot put into words good enough to express my feelings. ❤️ I have more to come with Frances Design Photography. My latest word choice is ELEVATE. From here on out it’s all about continued growth.

Let me be totally vulnerable and honest. Chasing your dream and making it happen, is EXTREMELY hard.

It's extremely hard because we have a system that doesn't value what we love, and it doesn't value our time. It values money, and so it values people who can make money. And that means that if you want to do something meaningful with your life, it will be harder for you to get paid doing it than if you have a different goal in mind—especially if you're young and starting out in your career.

It's not fair, but there are ways around this. One way is to find people who believe in what you care about and support them—people who will hire you or give you opportunities or just plain stand with you when other people say no. Another way is to take what your passionate about and make it your goal to be paid by doing that passion.

I am in awe with the support that was shown yesterday with the grand opening of FDMC Studio. I still can’t even truly find the right words to fully express my gratitude.

“I want to be paid for what I love to do. I want to be my own boss. I want to be in control of my schedule. I want to be able to put my family first no matter what. I don’t want to be stuck.”

These are just a few things I desired … I started out with zero knowledge of camera equipment. Zero knowledge of how to actually run a business. I dove in with raw passion for art and to be different than the rest. I bought books, took classes, watched YouTube, put myself out there on social media and instead of just “waiting to feel ready”, I just started.

I have wanted a studio space for about a year and I truly felt in my heart God said “you’ll have one”. This space, this studio God placed right in my hands 1.5 months ago. When Lana and I originally were looking, the first 2 places weren’t ideal… I then prayed for a space that would be affordable and bring us profit. Immediately after praying, we walked into this studio. Which wasn’t even the studio we made an appointment to see. THATS HOW CRAZY it is that we got this space. It was taken offline because they were remodeling.

Also, I’m preettyyyyy sure God hand picked The minks club LLC to do this jump with me. As different as we are, we work so well together. We truly help each other’s business grow and we both have that same hustle and drive to get where we want to be. We keep ourselves professional, give top notch customer service but most importantly too, we CARE. I’m so beyond blessed to have you Lana. Love you woman so much!
