One of the coolest parts of this project is the Scottish / St. Andrews-style bunker we're incorporating directly into the design.

And that's only part of it.

We're shaping the green to create contours, breaks and different putting lines so the homeowner isn't practicing the same straight putt over and over again.

There's a big difference between installing artificial grass with a few putting cups—and actually building a custom putting green.

Here's a look behind the scenes at one of our current builds at The Outdoor Living Pros.

We're creating a custom putting environment with shaped contours, movement throughout the green, and one of our favorite features: a Scottish/St. Andrews-inspired bunker.

What does it take to transform a 5,500 sq. ft. lakefront backyard?

A lot more than simply rolling out artificial grass.

On this project, The Outdoor Living Pros transformed a large waterfront property into a clean, beautiful and low-maintenance outdoor space while preserving the existing palms and landscaping that make this backyard so unique.

One of the most important parts of the project was also something you barely notice once we're finished: drainage. We addressed the property's water management and redirected gutter runoff away from the new turf so the entire system could function properly—not just look great on installation day.

That's the difference between putting turf on the ground and building an outdoor space correctly.

Now THIS is a Florida backyard. 🌴🌊

Beautiful waterfront views, a pool, mature oak trees and plenty of outdoor space — the goal on this project was to complement what was already there while eliminating the headaches that come with maintaining natural grass.

The Outdoor Living Pros installed K9 artificial grass throughout the property, creating a consistently green lawn that flows around the trees, landscaping, pool deck and curved walkways.

Since the homeowners also needed a pet-friendly solution, we used ZeoFill infill to help neutralize pet odors and keep the turf area fresher.

One of our favorite parts of this installation is how naturally the finished turf fits into the property. Those massive trees aren't obstacles — they're part of what makes this backyard special, and the turf was installed around them to preserve that character.

Less maintenance. No muddy paws. No struggling Florida lawn.

Just a backyard that's ready to be enjoyed.

A Waterfront Backyard Built for the View.

This is what happens when artificial grass becomes part of the entire landscape—not just an addition to it.

For this beautiful lakefront property, The Outdoor Living Pros transformed the backyard and side yards with **Nature’s Best artificial grass**, creating a clean, consistent landscape that flows around the existing palms, gardens, architecture, and waterfront.

And what you don't see is just as important.

We incorporated drainage from the home’s gutter system, trenching FlexDrain underground and terminating it with pop-up emitters to move stormwater away from the newly transformed areas. At one discharge point, we created a rock drainage bed to help manage the water while keeping the finished landscape clean.

It’s the little details that make the difference.
