We had a blast at the parade this morning! Thank you to everyone who cheered and clapped for us! We are so lucky to have so many awesome students, parents and instructors who wanted to bring their moves and help to the parade!

SCHEDULE UPDATES!

We're halfway through our SECOND WEEK of classes at Wyoming Dance Collective!

We've made a few schedule updates to allow for more time for private lessons and other events happening at the studio! Those updates are:

Beginning Acro - this class is now being offered Tuesday mornings from 11:30am - 12:15pm! We've also lowered the age to register for this class to 3 years old!

Ballet Level 4 - this class will meet on it's normal Monday time AND Thursdays from 4:30pm - 6:00pm!

It's not too late to register for classes with us!

We didn’t get one masterclass with EMILIE BEZLER when she has here last week….. WE GOT TWO! She brought an emotional, fast and technical piece to our contemporary/lyrical masterclass and our dancers rose to meet the challenge!

Big thank you again to Emilie for coming to see us twice over the summer months and providing great dance education to our students! Her energy, passion and skill are inspiring to every dancer she interacts with!

1 MORE DAY! Our excitement for our Fall Season has reached an all time high and we CANNOT WAIT to see all of our dancers starting tomorrow!

Finishing our countdown is our Intermediate / Advanced Hip Hop class taught by Miss Lydia! Hip Hop is a high-energy class that combines rhythm, musicality, and performance with foundational street-style movement and choreography. This class is open to dancers with intermediate or advanced hip hop experience levels.

Students will build their knowledge of hip hop based movement styles commonly seen in commercial dance, music videos, and hip hop performance settings.

Instructor approval and placement is required.

For our second to last class feature we have our Intermediate / Advanced Contemporary/Lyrical class! This class is designed for more experienced dancers who are willing to rise to the challenge and push their skills and technique with Miss Lydia!

This class was a hit in the spring so we had to bring it back! Through hands-on instrument play, movement activities, rhythm games, and listening exercises, students develop a strong foundation in musical awareness while building confidence and coordination.

Wrapping up the work week of our countdown is our Pointe class! Taught by Miss Lydia this class is 60 minutes weekly focusing on pointe technique, strengthening the musculature of the lower leg and providing dancers with time at the barre and in center en pointe!

Enrollment in this class requires instructor approval and proper placement. Dancers must demonstrate consistent ballet technique, adequate strength, and readiness for pointe training before participating. Proper pointe shoes and preparation are required.

5 DAYS until our first Fall Season begins!!! Have you registered for class yet??

Winding us down into Friday is our Modern class! This class is open to dancers of all ages and experience levels, with instruction adapted to meet individual skill development. Students will develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and musicality while learning modern dance fundamentals such as movement quality, floor work, balance, and controlled release-based technique. Modern Dance promotes artistic expression, creativity, and confidence while supporting safe and progressive technical development. Previous dance experience is helpful but not required. All dancers are welcome to explore movement in a supportive and structured environment.
