Here is the second piece for the fawn print drop launching October 1st, in collaboration with Smithwick Station!
‼️20% of the purchase price of each print sold will go directly to Smithwick Station, to help rehabilitate fawns and support our local wildlife.
Earlier this year, I visited Smithwick Station and met Sarah through a mutual friend. She showed me around the facility and everything she does to rehabilitate wildlife, and I knew right then I wanted to give back. Smithwick Station is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility, certified through the Georgia DNR, and has been operating since 2022.
Right now, they're in need of a proper wash area for treating injured fawns, and a small kitchen area to help keep up with the roughly 50 gallons of goat milk they go through every single week, feeding around 40 fawns! Crazy right!? The rest of the proceeds will help them prepare for the fawns arriving again next spring, along with their ongoing medical needs. And of course more fresh goats milk!
So when you collect one of these prints, you're not just bringing home art made by hand, you're supporting a real people, a real cause, and wildlife. It doesn't get much better than that!
