🎤✨ Last week, the Gryphon stage welcomed a comedy legend.
For more than three decades, Tim Meadows has been making audiences laugh through film, television, and stand-up. Last week he brought that talent to Laramie as part of the Comedy That Cares tour, a series of shows that raises money for nonprofits in Wyoming.
Bringing performers of this caliber to a town like ours is something special. It’s one of the best things a community space can do: give people a reason to gather, share an experience, and leave a little lighter than when they arrived.
In a world that can often feel heavy, there’s something remarkable about spending an evening in a room full of people laughing together. For a couple of hours, worries get set aside, conversations start, and collectively we share a moment of joy.
So thank you, Tim Meadows, for helping us forget our troubles for a little while, for supporting communities through your work, and for reminding us that laughter is one of the best ways to bring people together.
Nights like this don’t happen without the people who show up every day to keep the lights on – The Gryphon Theatre thrives due to the hard work of Front of House Manager Alex McAnelly and Theatre Director Adam Bender, pictured here with the marvelous Tim Meadows. If you’ve ever had a good time at the Gryphon, make sure to send some kudos and kindness their way!
🌟 Here’s to more great shows, packed houses, and opportunities to do a little good while having a lot of fun!
