Hoosier Star Finalist Spotlight 🎤🎶Olivia Branco

Olivia Branco, age 11, is thrilled to return to the Hoosier Star competition and take the stage with the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra. A natural talent, she has shared her passion for singing through roles in several musical productions across two local community theaters. Most recently, Olivia and her sister, Selah, shared their talent by providing a full set of live music for a local Valentine's Day dinner. Outside of her musical endeavors, Olivia stays busy playing soccer, running, reading mystery books, and playing with her kittens. She is deeply grateful to the many local businesses and individuals who have generously sponsored her participation in this competition.

Wrigley would like to say "Thank you to my parents, my friends, and everyone who came out to support all of the contestants today. Your encouragement means so much!
I have a passion for singing and dancing, and I love expressing myself through the arts. I also enjoy painting, fashion, playing tennis, and spending time with my friends. One of my biggest dreams is to become a fashion designer, where I can combine creativity and style to inspire others.

Hoosier Star Finalist Spotlight 🎤🎶 Tenley Edvardsen

Tenley Edvardsen is a 2025 graduate of St. Mary’s College where she earned a BA in music and a minor in musical theater. She was a member of Belle Voix at St. Mary’s College and Harmonia at the University of Notre Dame. Tenley has performed with the Northwest Indiana Symphony and at the Northwestern University School of Music. Her love of performing began at the age of five in Wizard of Oz the musical. Since then she has performed in numerous productions, most recently Shrek the musical and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She is pursuing a career in music and theater. Thanks to the LaPorte Symphony, Lisa Kristina, Nancy Menk, Elizabeth Schleicher, her family, friends, teachers and everyone that supports the arts.

Hoosier Star Finalist Spotlight 🎤🎶 Selah Branco

Selah Branco, age 14, is an aspiring singer-songwriter who is happy to sing on stages of any size. Selah is active in community theater, Monday Musicale, and most recently, singing the National Anthem at the RailCats Stadium. Coming back to the Civic Auditorium for the last Hoosier Star competition marks a memorable milestone and deep appreciation for the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra. When not working towards her musical goals, you can find her reading, baking, sketching, writing poetry, or creating intricate gel nails. Selah believes that music is a universal language that can bring people together regardless of their differences, and she's excited to put that belief to action tonight in her final performance with the LCSO.

Hoosier Star Finalist Spotlight🎤🎶 Anaya Cunningham

"Hello!! My name is Anaya Cunningham, and it is truly an honor to be a part of my first ever Hoosier Star! With singing, it's not a stretch to say it's my passion. I've been singing as well as performing since the third grade. I started my journey singing in Matt Nelson's Singing Co. of La Porte children's choir. From then, I've performed in musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors and Carole King's: Beautiful the Musical, along with performing in my high school's show choir. I am currently a Purdue NW Psychology major heading into my sophomore year. My plans for the future are to hopefully start a music career of my own. I hope to have lots of fun in the competition, and I want to give a big shout-out to my grandma, Sandra Willis, for pushing me to live out my dreams! "
