Our friends at the Lake County Fair have faced some unexpected closures, so now is a great time to show them a little extra support! ❤️

County fairs are built on community, tradition, volunteers, vendors, exhibitors, and families who work incredibly hard to make these events happen. When one fair faces a challenge, the fair community comes together.

If you’re looking for something fun to do, head over to the Lake County Fair, enjoy the food, ride some rides, visit the exhibits, support the vendors, and help make the rest of their fair a great one!

📶 FREE WiFi at the La Porte County Fairgrounds and Event Center! 📶

The Community Building is open today until 4pm and then will reopen Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm to charge any devices!

⚡ Need a place to charge up?

The Community Building at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds will be open from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Thursday and Friday for anyone who needs a place to charge phones, tablets, laptops, or other devices due to the recent power outages.

Please feel free to stop in and get powered back up! 🔌📱💻

As the 2026 La Porte County Fair comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this year's fair such an incredible success! ❤️💙💛

Thank you to our amazing fairgoers for creating unforgettable memories, our dedicated volunteers and hardworking staff, the La Porte County Sheriff's Office and all law enforcement and emergency personnel, our incredible vendors and exhibitors, our sponsors, entertainment, and every member of our Board of Directors for the countless hours spent making this fair possible.

A special thank you goes to our outstanding 4-H members, leaders, and families. Your dedication, hard work, and passion are the heart of the La Porte County Fair. We are so proud of everything you accomplished this week!

Because of each and every one of you, the 180th La Porte County Fair was one to remember. Thank you for helping us continue a tradition that has brought our community together for generations.

As the 180th La Porte County Fair begins to wind down, we're taking a look back at an unforgettable week. ❤️🎡

From the smiles on the midway to the excitement in the grandstands, the hard work of our 4-H members, the incredible food, entertainment, and community spirit—this year's fair was one to remember. Gates close at 10 PM tonight!
