Over the past few weeks we have been highlighting our student cast members who are participating in MEAN GIRLS, the brutally hilarious Broadway musical adapted from Tina Fey's hit 2004 film of the same name.

This production showcases student performers from across the greater Lapeer County and Genesee County area and is a collaborative effort with Imlay City Schools' Performing Arts Center. Each student invests well over 100 hours of their summer into learning and rehearsing the music, dancing and acting elements necessary to put on a dynamic musical production. We are very proud of all our students and their extraordinary talents exhibited through very hard work.

Owen Cross - Monkey, Mathlete, Ensemble

Owen will be in 8th grade at Flushing Middle School this fall. He has performed in numerous Broadway Bound productions including Music Man, Charlie Brown and High School Musical. Owen enjoys running on his MS Cross Country and Track teams. His future plans include studying science. His favorite Mean Girls moment so far has been the workshops with Broadway actors. Owen would like to thank, “my parents, Becki and Don” for supporting him through his Mean Girls experience.

To see Owen as a hilariously awkward Mathlete, come out to the Imlay City Performing Arts Center August 3, 4, 5 at 7 pm. Tickets are available now at Broadwaybound.ludus.com

Hey friends and family of the Brewers! This will be your last chance to see these two ladies and many of their talented friends in a Broadway Bound musical. This show is by far the best we’ve ever done and Georgia and Audrey will blow you away with their performances. The show is PG, but if you were ok with Grease, this would be ok for you too. Please come out and support this group of kids. They are amazing, the new Performing Arts Center is incredible, and it’s our family’s last show together before the girls leave for college. Over the last couple of weeks we have been highlighting our student cast members who are participating in MEAN GIRLS, the brutally hilarious Broadway musical adapted from Tina Fey's hit 2004 film of the same name.

This production showcases student performers from across the greater Lapeer County and Genesee County area and is a collaborative effort with Imlay City Schools' Performing Arts Center. Jacob Haley - Shane Omen, Tyler K, Ensemble

Jacob will be a senior at Flushing High School next fall where he is a Varsity Football and Track & Field athlete. Mean Girls is his first ever musical theatre experience but he has been studying piano for twelve years. Jacob will be attending Cleary University in January 2024 to compete in Track and Field and study Business and Animal Hospitality. He hopes to own his own rescue ranch and rehabilitation center for animals in the future.

Jacob’s favorite Mean Girls rehearsal moment has been learning the choreography for Apex Predator. When asked if there is anyone he wanted to acknowledge for supporting him through his Mean Girls experience, Jacob responded with, “My Mom for helping me pursue my love for piano and music and my late piano teacher Ms Ida for teaching me how to play piano”.

Catch Jacob and the rest of the Mean Girls cast August 3, 4, 5 at 7 pm in the Imlay City Performing Arts Center. Tickets are moving fast so don't wait! Tickets are available at: Broadwaybound.ludus.com
