Hello Everyone,
We had hoped very much to avoid this post, but we, like many other shows will be canceling this year due to the impact of COVID-19.
With the new announcement from the President of extended social distancing until April 30th, and the theory that we will start to see recovery June 1st poses too many unknowns for the show to continue and be successful this year. We are truly sorry to disappoint any of our fans/vendors/artists/sponsors/guests and anyone else involved with the show, but we hope you understand that this is an unpredictable situation that is impossible to plan for.
The obvious and tragic impact that COVID-19 has had and will have on not only us as a country but the world is cause enough for our decision, but it was not reached easily and we would like to share some of the challenges in trying to continue the show this year.
The physical, mental, and economic impact on not only our attendees but vendors and guests are facing at this time. We have high hopes that all will be recovered by July, but we don't know if large gatherings will even be allowed.
All but one of our media guests for this year resides outside the United States. We do not know if travel bans will be lifted by then and we don't want to disappoint anyone last minute.
We are a smaller, family-run show and believe the most important thing right now is for everyone to concentrate on themselves and a healthy future.
To all vendors and artists/crafters: We will be contacting you all in the next few days with options for either full refund or partial refund and we will reserve your spot for next July. If you do not hear from us by the end of the week, please email me directly at: [email protected].
Any attendees who won free tickets for this year's show will be honored at next year's show. Any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments. Thank you everyone for being amazing and stay safe and healthy!
