Flat Mary Road

Flat Mary Road has been playing in Philadelphia since the oughts. They've been writing original pop rock inspired by college radio of the late 80s and early 90s, with songs about heartbreak, friendship, America, and quite a few tunes about car travel.

Subtle Body

Goth/post punk/experimental sounds from Philadelphia. The band's influences draw from ex-Yugo punk such as Paraf, Tožibabe, and Kaos, alongside classic post-punk bands like Rakta, Xmal Deutschland, Siouxie and The Banshees, Neu!, Rudimentary Peni, and Décima Víctima. Their music also incorporates ambient and experimental synthesizer music which serves as contrast and furthering the bands atmospheric vibe.

Jason Calhoun

jason calhoun is an ambient and electronic musician living in Delaware County. The hallmark of jason calhoun's music--either under his given name or under the naps alias--is an emotional resonance that allows fragility and perseverance to occupy the same space. Though humble in his approach, calhoun has done something quietly extraordinary in building a body of work that, unlike so much music that seeks to transport you elsewhere, instead asks you to check in with yourself. Some tracks are postcard-like in their brevity and sense of tidings, while others shift the listener into a denser headspace, generously allowing for more sustained reflection.

Free, outside, all ages!

Starting in just a couple weeks. Can you believe summer is winding down already?

Come check out some local music, hang with friends and neighbors, share a picnic or bev (the space is a designated BYOB outdoor space), and enjoy a summerish night outside.

The Landing is an outdoor parkway across the street from the Lansdowne Theater. It’s fully accessible with ample parking (pay at the kiosk this year.)

Amari Rebel & the Movement are a symphony of rebellion building a world for themselves and their people. The Philadelphia-based band’s seamless fusion of hip-hop, reggae, and rock creates a sound that is both innovative and deeply rooted in the musical traditions of the African diaspora. They call it Soular Rock.

Another Michael is an indie folk-pop band, led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Michael Doherty. Originally formed in Albany in 2015, the band moved to West
Philadelphia and expanded to include Nick Sebastiano and Alenni Davis,
creating a sound often compared to Fleet Foxes, Neil Young, and Fleetwood Mac.
