Open up your plans and damn you’re free!
We’re sorry to announce that tomorrow night’s Open Sound (Thurs, 9/25) is canceled due to the forecasted weather. We are very sad to have to cancel the last night of the series, but the weather didn’t play in our favor this year!
Unfortunately you will be missing
Flat Mary Road, Skeeter Bobb and Zoe Lemon. Please check them out!
The musicians for Open Sound always donate their time generously. If you like what you hear, give them a follow, buy an album, go to a gig! ❤️
Flat Mary Road
Flat Mary Road has been playing in Philadelphia since the oughts. They’ve been writing original pop rock inspired by college radio of the late 80s and early 90s, with songs about heartbreak, friendship, America, and quite a few tunes about car travel.

Skeeter Bobb
Skeeter Bobb has its roots right here in Lansdowne. The seed was planted at a ukulele class and has blossomed into a duo that performs interpretations of classic hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
Zoe Lemon
Zoe (rhymes with toe!) is a violinist, songwriter, and self-proclaimed terrible cook. Her music is introspective, full of layered strings, delicate drums, and warm vocals.
She recently released an EP titled A Coin in the Mouth of a Fish in June—a collection written during a season when she felt like she wasn’t quite measuring up.
Though based in Philadelphia, Zoe recorded the EP in Nashville. Her debut EP, Tailspin, was featured on WXPN, WKDU, and NPR. She just got back from an east coast tour on Sunday!
