Who knew a world-class music program got its start over lunch at Pickles? 🥪🎼

The idea for the Pacific Northwest Conducting Institute—now attracting conductors from more than 25 countries—was born during a brainstorming session at Pickles Deli of Whidbey Island in Clinton. What began as a conversation about creating a sustainable summer program for the Saratoga Orchestra of Whidbey Island has grown into an internationally respected conducting workshop right here on Whidbey Island.
