Lanesboro Arts is proud to host the Textile Center’s biennial show, “A Common Thread”. A beloved tradition for twenty five years, this exhibition highlights the remarkable creativity of the Textile Center’s member artists and the versatility of fiber art.
More than thirty works from Textile Center’s galleries will showcase techniques including stitching, quilting, knitting, crochet, sewing, weaving, dyeing, felting, needlework, hand construction, polymer clay, lacemaking, basketry, beading, sculpture, mixed media and more – creating an exhibition rich in diversity and expansive in scope and perspective.
This show opens October 24th with an opening reception from 6 to 8 pm. Attendees can enjoy conversations with the artists, refreshments, and live music while getting a first look at the new exhibition.
