Winter 2027 Community Play will be The Waverly Gallery which is an acclaimed memory play by Kenneth Lonergan that explores a family coping with the matriarch's cognitive decline from Alzheimer's disease. Centered on a feisty Greenwich Village art gallery owner named Gladys, the poignant tragicomedy balances heartbreak with dark, realistic humor.

Auditions will be December 11at 6 pm and December 23 at 2 pm(location to be announced later)

Lanesboro Community Theater will be offering a free family day for families with children. Free day is Sunday, July 19, matinee-2:00 show.

Come to box office day of show. Box office opens at 1:30. If you ordered tickets online it does not guarantee a seat for the free show it is still first come first served for this free show. Thank you.

A Wrinkle in Time: get to know the cast

Don’t be confused if you have trouble seeing these two on the stage, they have their own special space behind the puppet screen. Aurora Haugen and Flynn McNeilus are our shadow puppeteer specialists. They can make the stars shine, the wind blow, the house rock and the insects dance. The show is multidimensional in so many ways, and we hope you make room in your schedule to come see it.

A Wrinkle in Time meet the cast:

You have seen all of the other ensemble members on this page, now here is the final cast member, Jill Pigott. Jill had been working on the puppet portion of the play for three months before she was invited to add her voice to the ensemble too. On stage, Jill lends energy and support to the group, and we are reminded that this play is all about community! Don’t miss it, opening night is Friday!

Kieran Dixon has been surrounded by theater his whole life. In A Wrinkle in Time you will see him (or not see him, as the case may be) playing the role of “Which.” We are excited for you to experience this strange creature that Kieran brings to life on the stage! Thea Nixon returns to the Lanesboro Community Theater stage as Mrs. Who, an ageless, cosmic being who is unique in that she mostly speaks in famous quotations. In real life, Thea is a teacher and speaks several languages and so needs no quotes to get by, but just because of A Wrinkle in Time, let’s leave a quote here anyway! “All of those who are willing to face the darkness bring the best of themselves to the light, for the world.” Madeleine L’Engle
