••In life, there are no neutral spaces or places. If a vacuum exists, something will fill it; if it's not light, it will be darkness. If it's not warmth, it will be cold. If it's not joy and gratitude, it could easily be sorrow and resentment. It's great to see churches filling public spaces; bringing joy, lifting their voices, feeding any who might join—it reminds me of Jesus feeding the masses with loaves and fishes. And what better way to spend a Sunday morning than singing songs to the Creator in a sunny park surrounded by century-old trees? Maybe I will see you there this morning in Paris at Lyons Park near the band shell.
Who knows, I might just stick around and set up a microphone in that band shell afterwards if the mood strikes me. After all, it's my favorite Amphitheater in Brant County!

**Sidebar:** If you're at church looking to hold a park service—whether it's a Sunday morning service or an evening sing-along—and need help with logistics, feel free to DM me. If you have tech issues, don't have a portable PA system, or lack a musical team but still want to organize something like this, I have a full professional PA setup and can help with song leading if needed. Additionally, I can provide microphones for public speaking. I'm happy to assist if your group wants to shine a light on the hill, either occasionally or on a regular basis. Community outreach concert events are also an option (see the link above). I don't think anyone would disagree: we need more of what we see in the video above.
