Hey friends!!!
I’ll spare you the novel, here’s the cliff notes:
We sold a house. We packed a house. We moved.
We designed a house. We built a house. We moved in a house.
I spent some time in doctors offices. I had surgery. I recovered.
and in between all that...
I stressed some, planned some, slept some, laughed some, cried some, bled some, rejoiced some, learned some, grew some and prayed ...a lot.
And though it seems as though nothing is slowing down, I’m now taking time...some...to get my hands back in the mud!!

I managed to stop by Tryon Painters & Sculptors today to see ‘for the love of horses’ gallery on display! (And naturally had to get a quick pic of that ‘Tough as Nails Pottery’ piece 😉). The show opening was postponed from last Saturday to this Saturday, the 22nd, due to weather, and my schedule may prevent me from attending ☹️....but YALL! there are some SERIOUSLY talented artists living here in the foothills!!!.

Flashback to a little floral action that I’ve yet to finish. Because... ... ... ...but I can always tell when my creativity has been cooped up for an overly extended period of time...my entire mood is impacted. I know it’s time to get back in the studio when I’m having to use serious restraint to refrain from ending a good majority of my conversations with “y’all gon’ make me lose my mind!” 😆(Somebody else please tell me you just heard the voice of DMX shout “up in here” inside your head just now and it wasn’t just me!! 😂) Must. Get. Back. Into. Studio. ASAP! ✌🏼❤️😜.

Come support your favorite local area artists!! ...and if one of your favorites happens to be me, well...don’t make me blush ☺️😆😂. All kidding aside, I’m truly honored to have had my work selected for the show. There are some crazy talented artists in our area, some with their artwork also in this show! ✌🏼❤️👩🏻‍🎨

You are cordially invited to our opening reception and awards night. Please join us from 5-7pm this Saturday for refreshments and lots of excitement seeing who the big winners are! Our newest show “FOR THE LOVE OF THE HORSE” is in celebration of all things Equestrian. We welcome all visitors in town visiting for the to join us in supporting our local artists.

It’s just been confirmed!!
These babies will be in the ‘For The Love of Horses’ show at the gallery in downtown Tryon, NC.
This was a juried show, so I’m thrilled and honored to have had both of my entry pieces selected!! There are some amazingly talented artists with their art in the show, I’m beyond flattered to have been selected to showcase my pottery alongside them 😊.
The show opening is this Saturday beginning at 5pm. The show itself is going to be on display September 15th-October 13th. Stop by if you get the chance, and please let me know if you do!!
All works of art are for sale, but can not be picked up until after the show ends...if anyone from out of town, or even locally who can’t attend the event, is interested in either of my pieces, let me know and I’ll see what I can do for you 😄.
This is exciting, I’m excited! Life has been such a whirlwind here recently, this is a much needed highlight in all of the chaos.

👀Sneak peek👀
I’ve been swamped with life happenings outside of the studio...but as things are starting to fall into place, I’ve managed to squeeze in a hot minute for mudslinging and squeaked out a couple of pottery pieces I’m excited about!! Look who’s now happily displayed inside The Nest Artisan Market in Tryon, NC!! I’ve frequented this store for awhile now (they carry some awesome artwork) and I’m thrilled they now have a few ‘Tough as Nails’ pieces for sale too!!
