The short version: our family bought the house on a cold fall day in 2012. We fell for the old-world charm and the acre of gardens out back, and then we got to work.

Restoring an old house is slow. Every owner before us had made changes, so we found layers of history as we went. Victorian damask wallpaper hiding behind a wood-panel media center. Cast iron grates sitting under faux fireplaces. Little discoveries that kept us going.

A few years later, the weekend project turned into something bigger than we planned. Now it's a place where crafters come to spread out, work on what they love, and not worry about anything else for a weekend.

We believe in doing business the joyful way. Do the right thing, treat people well, and make someone smile when you get the chance.

Scrapbooking is one of the few hobbies where the whole point is slowing down.

You sit with a stack of photos. You pick the ones that matter. You figure out what to say about them. Somewhere in the middle of cutting paper and lining things up, you end up remembering more than you expected to.

Phones hold thousands of pictures nobody ever looks at. A scrapbook holds a few dozen that somebody will.

That's the difference 💕💕

There's something special that happens when a group walks through the doors at 210 Main. 🧡

They arrive as scrapbookers, quilters, yarn spinners, letter pressers — even the occasional fife and drum corps. But somewhere between the work tables and the "Caffeination Station," between late-night crops and family-style meals around our big custom dining table, they become something more.

Projects get finished, sure. But the real magic is the laughter echoing from the studio, the stories swapped over waffles, the friendships that deepen with every retreat. As one guest wrote in our guestbook: "We had a fabulous time! Lots of laughing and catching up."

That's what 210 Main is really about. We provide the space, the tools, and the snacks — you bring your people. Community does the rest. ✂️🧵☕
