Ricky is one of our long-term residents, and he's more than ready to find a family of his own. This sweet boy absolutely loves people and is happiest exploring the world by your side. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll or a new trail, Ricky is always up for an adventure with his favorite human.

Despite his long stay, Ricky is calm and quiet in his kennel, patiently waiting for someone to give him the chance he deserves.

Previously I had the pleasure of knowing this handsome guy and he has never been forgotten. Ricky Bobby has one of the biggest personalities you'll ever meet. He's goofy, funny, incredibly loving, and has a way of making everyone around him smile. Whether he's ready to play or perfectly content snuggled up beside you, he's simply happy to be with his people. He also completed PACK training giving him a great foundation to build on. I know large black dogs are often overlooked. Their beautiful coats don't always stand out in photos the way lighter colored dogs do and they tend to wait longer for homes because of it. But trust me, his personality shines brighter than any photo ever could. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with laughter, love, and plenty of cuddles, please give this amazing boy a chance. I truly believe the right person is going to wonder how they ever lived without him.
