Presentation via Zoom: Grace Errea, fiber artist, designer, quilter, and author, will talk about using color in quilts.

Antelope Valley Quilt Association presents Quilter’s College on Thursday, October 12, at Lancaster Methodist Church, 918 W Avenue J. Four members will each teach a favorite technique or design in 15 minutes. Doors open at 5:30 pm and meeting starts at 6:00.

AVQA Festival of Quilts, Day 1 is done. Many people came to admire our beautiful quilts, buy raffle tickets, purchase auction quilts at “Buy It Now” prices, and shop at our vendors. Day 2 will feature “Buy It Now” pricing on auction quilts, a live quilt auction at 12:30, and raffle drawings at 3:30. Join us at Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, Van Dam Pavilion, 2551 West Avenue H, Lancaster CA, from 10:00 to 4:00.

You won't want to miss our Live Auction this show! During our COVID cleanout of the guild's storage shed, we found 15 - that's fifteen! -- Orphan quilt tops. Quilter may be unknown, but thanks to great volunteering by our Guild members, they are finished.
Please plan to attend the Quilt show May 20 and 21 to ADOPT one of these beautiful quilts and give them the home they deserve. "Buy It Now" gives you a chance to purchase outright before the auction starts. At 12:30 Sunday, May 21, we will conduct our live auction of quilts donated by our guild members.
