Pianist, Kendra Bigley, is a versatile collaborative artist and respected pedagogue. She earned the Bachelor of Music (cum laude) in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Barry Snyder, Fernando Laires, and Jean Barr. Ms. Bigley has built a career as a chamber musician, teacher, music director, vocal coach, and accompanist at such institutions as the Trust Performing Arts Center, Fulton Theatre, Servant Stage Company, Prima Theatre, Opera Lancaster, Florida International University, and Lancaster Bible College.
Kendra's favorite collaborations at the Trust PAC include recitals with violinist Carla Leurs, soprano Amy Owens, and clarinetist Doris Hall-Gulati, as well as 4-hands pieces with pianists Tim Long, Chris Shih, Paul Thorlakson.
Her credits as music-director/conductor include “Working”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”, “Little Women”, “My Fair Lady”, “Music Man”, "Ruth", and “Titanic” for which she won the BroadwayWorld Regional Award for Best Musical Director.
Ms. Bigley is currently pursuing the Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano/Opera Coaching at Temple Unversity's Boyer College of Music and Dance.
