Better Late than Normal

A few Recycled Heads never got their proper introduction before the show, so they’re getting one now. Different faces, different stories, same general problem: none of them turned out remotely normal.

There are cracked little smiles, bad decisions, strange accessories, and more than a few eyes that probably know something they shouldn’t. They missed their spotlight the first time around, but they’re still here, waiting for the right weird little corner to call home.

The Not-So-Merry Seven
A crooked little lineup of seven paperweights, each one with her own bad attitude. They’ve got the feel of a fairy tale that went sideways somewhere along the road—part clown, part ghost, part attic relic, and all of them looking like they’ve been whispering about you since before you walked in.

The Foundlings
Not quite dolls and not quite ghosts, these little ones turned up together and clearly had no intention of being separated. Four pale faces, long hanging twine, rusted stars at their throats, and those strange little bodies rising out of rough burlap nests like they were grown there instead of made.
They’ve got that quiet old-attic kind of creepiness: primitive, weathered, and just a little mournful. One pair watches with dark hollow eyes, the other with that wide mismatched stare, but all of them feel like they belong to the same odd little family.

The Calling

She came to the fence with a cross in one hand and the other raised to the sky, wild hair flying and autumn berries winding around her black dress. A broom waits at her feet, which makes it hard to tell whether she came to cast something out or call something in.
Either way, the ritual has already started.
