what a jovial June we have in store for those who grace our theater’s door; the summer heat is hard to beat but we know where its cool on Prince Street! (for now that’s our locale, at least, as we continue to tackle the Big Move beast)

Auditions are this weekend; don’t forget to sign up!

Those who find themselves at our theater on the second Saturday of the month have a high chance of witnessing the fast paced competition style improv show PANDAMONIUM, hosted by Mike Andrews. Viewers vote live for their favorite performances; two factions enter and only one faction can emerge victorious, like Whose Line Is It Anyway? in the Thunderdome.

If that sounds like your kind of Saturday night, and you've completed our Improv 201 or equivalent programming, we'd love to see you at auditions on Sunday, May 31 at 1:00pm.

Angie has watched our organization grow for many years; teaching, coaching, performing, and otherwise kicking butt as one of LIP’s major players. Our new space has a long way to go before it’s ready for us to inhabit it, but as a skilled improviser, we knew Angie would see the vision. Soon, this vast expanse of real estate will be our improv paradise!

Improv is a great way to improve your conversational skills, increase your brain elasticity, and make new friends. There are even therapeutic benefits to playing make believe; it helps your brain process information and form new connections!

Times are tough, and we’d love to see you in class, so be sure to email about a partial or full scholarship if finances are keeping you from joining in on the fun. You’d be helping us make Lancaster a funnier place!
