As we all know, Covid-19 has hit businesses, organizations and the arts extremely hard. Lancaster Arts and Civic Club has weathered the storm and after the latest meeting in early February 2022 the members have made a handful of exciting decisions.

As of the February 2022 meeting, Lancaster Arts and Civic Club members are thrilled to become a part of the Rise Up Arts Alliance. Lancaster Arts and Civic Club and Rise Up Arts Alliance have a combined 60 years of theatrical experience. Lancaster Arts and Civic Club members look forward to partnering with and utilizing the organizational skills of RUAA as well as providing valuable opportunities for the Lancaster and Fairfield County Communities together as one team.

Despite the curtain closing on Lancaster Arts and Civic Club, a rebranded theatrical experience has risen from the ashes, Glass City Community Theater under the guidance of Artistic Director, Chris Hughes of Rise Up Arts Alliance.

Glass City Community Theater is excited to offer the chance to build on theatrical experiences of all skill sets whether on or off stage and to provide live entertainment for the greater Lancaster and Fairfield County Communities.
