The Green Room Theatre Club is proud to be holding auditions for their spring 2017 production of Domestic Animals, a new play written and directed by Alec Hersh '19 on Thursday 1/26 and Saturday, 1/28 from 6-9 in the Drama Studio! This drama examines life in America during two different turbulent periods of American history, focusing on the lives and relationships of the Kennedy and Roosevelt families, people who, while typically perceived as perfect, are in actuality incredibly flawed and tragic. It seeks to question the roles of gender in the family, the idea of the "perfect American family" and the complicated ways one can love another person. NO EXPERIENCE OR PREPARATION REQUIRED. If you would like, you may come with a one minute dramatic monologue. If not, we will provide scenes for you to read. This is a wonderful low committal opportunity for anybody interested in acting, sociology, history or having fun to get involved in the arts on campus. Callbacks will be at 2:30 on Sunday, January 29th with rehearsals running from 1/30 until its 5 show debut run in late March. sign up forms are now in the College Center and if you have any questions, feel free to email Alec Hersh at [email protected]. We hope to see you there!
