Harrisburg Artsfest takes over Riverfront Park from May 23 to 25, 2026, bringing one of Central PA’s favorite Memorial Day weekend traditions back along the Susquehanna. The 58th annual festival features 170+ juried artisans and craftsmen from across the country, with handmade work in categories like jewelry, ceramics, painting, photography, glass, fiber, wood, metal, sculpture, leather, and more.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. Along with the art, visitors can expect live entertainment, Jazzfest, Kidsfest, a community art project, HBGFest powered by the HBG Flea, and 25 food trucks, which means you can absolutely pretend you’re just “going for a walk by the river” while somehow leaving with kettle corn, wall art, and a sunburn.
While you’re in the area, make a day of Harrisburg instead of just looping the vendor tents and heading home. Walk Riverfront Park, look across to City Island, visit the Pennsylvania State Capitol, or head into Midtown for local stops like the Susquehanna Art Museum, Midtown Scholar Bookstore & Café, Broad Street Market, and The Millworks. The city’s Arts District connects downtown, midtown, and the riverfront with murals, galleries, theaters, historical markers, and river views, so Artsfest is a pretty good reminder that Harrisburg has more going on than traffic on Front Street and people arguing about where to park.
