Today the new jam drops!! We had a blast recording this song.

Working with an artist who is open to collaboration with us is always fun, and in this case it really pushed and shaped the song into something exciting.

9 years ago today we signed a 3 year lease and moved all of our musical equipment (in the middle of the freezing ass night) into the space that would come to be known as The Kaleidoscope.

Over the last 9 years we’ve recorded artists from all over the country. We’ve honed our skills as recording artists to give back and lift up the artists who come to work with us on their music. We’ve hosted performances from artists from all over the world. We’ve hoisted up our DIY flag and provided space for our community to gather and connect through music (the universal unifier).

It’s been simultaneously the most fun and hard work being here and carving out our little space in local and musical history. A humble and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has come through our doors to share time, energy, and connection with us. Maybe next year we host a proper banger for the big 10?

Our New Jersey/Lancaster brethren in just dropped their first jam in a MINUTE!!! Recorded and mixed at the stu. You have about two hours to listen to this song on repeat and then come out to their gig at and sing along! It’s on their bandcamp.

A rare and special honor this weekend, to have one of my personal favorite bands in the studio to work on new music with us. I’ve been knowing these dudes for almost 20 years at this point.

From taking me out on the town for my 21st bday, to introducing me to the world of DIY/punk mentality that has shaped my world, to just being the best guys to hang in a room with, it’s been a pleasure.

Take the new Styles Murphy jams for a spin! Thanks for having us be a part of these songs, fellas!!!

Today we're thankful for still being able to write, play and record music that means a lot to us almost 30 years after we started doing this when we were kids.

I think we're still improving!

We recorded these songs with Ben and Jon at The Kaleidoscope: these guys are great to work with and really made us sound better than we ever have before. Definitely recommend!
