One thing we hear year after year... But I can get pumpkins at XYZ for under $10. Yes we fully agree with you and they have thier place if you are using them right away or not concerned with asthetics. Our pumpkins come from a grower who is a small farmer and well educated in horticulture. He graduated from Cal Poly and genuinely cares about his end product. He hand selects with his small crew and the results for our community are healthy, thick walled long stem pumpkins. These pumpkins last well thru the holidays and if cared for even longer. If your carving a pumpkin and using it in the next few days I agree go with the grocery or box store pumpkins. Heck I would. However ours are a world apart from them. I am at a box store right now and here are the pics, no stems, rotten and its the begining of Oct, disease and filth.

When the pumpkins you are putting out to smashed and obliterate for the Anger Management Booth are nicer than most other patches around here and the grocery stores....

Barber Family Farm will be doing its fan favorite Anger Management during the whole pumpkin patch this year, not just the last week. We are lowering it to $5 as well as putting it right up front for all to see. Buy your victim, adorn it with all your woes and worries and then smash the heck out of it with bats or sledge hammers. Something bugging you? Let Barber Family Farm be you cure for only $5.00 Cheapest therapy in the AV.
