STUDENTS: Audition for "Patchwork", a cleverly designed ensemble of old fashioned fables and contemporary foibles,
Patchwork is stitched together with wit and wisdom. Each scene is introduced by a patch ready to be sewn, with the completed quilt presented at the conclusion.

Open auditions will be held Friday, Jan. 14, 9am–12pm in the AVC Black Box Theatre. Auditions are used to determine placement of students within the performance.

Patchwork will be performed in Antelope Valley area elementary schools through the Spring 2022 semester and at AVC Performing Arts Theatre March 19 and 20.

Forging Your Own Path: Experiences in DIY Music: Commercial Music Student Discussion and Q&A
Ever wonder how to get your band out of your garage and touring the country? Can a band be successful without a major record label? How can you do it for yourself? Join John “Jughead” Pierson, co-founder and guitarist of the pop-punk band Screeching Weasel, as he discusses his life, success, and struggles in the Do-It-Yourself Commercial Music Industry.
Open to the public • Limited seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis.
