Free Summer Concerts at Penn Square

Every summer we fill the air with the sound of live music- performed by some of Lancaster’s many, outstanding, professional groups. Join us in the shade of Penn Square each Friday from June through August and enjoy the depth and variety of our local music scene.

Thanks to strong support from local businesses, Brown Bag Concerts have been a staple of Lancaster summers for decades. The series is presented and managed by Lancaster Local 294 of the American Federation of Musicians, with strong support from the national Music Performance Trust Fund. Together, our sponsorships and trust fund support helps us keep the concert series alive and free to the public.
