And there’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with working at Sheetz

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone talk about money in the creative realm of work…. It’s so rare and I’m genuinely confused why.

let’s be real for a sec for any beginner artist or creative that has a DREAM to monetize their creativity or art…

I hit my original goal which was simply to create a PT job for myself that I could do outside of working an office job, being a mom, or whatever I might find myself doing. I wanted to learn how to run a business, how taxes work as a self employed person, how to have clients and how to exchange $ for an excellent product or service.

What I could’ve told you:

- “How I make 10k months with my art”(this happened literally one time and probably will again but I’m not about to teach you how to do that and imply that I make six-figures or more)

- “Why you should quit your job and go build a business on Instagram” (Don’t do it. I’m so glad I didn’t)

- “How I make X amount of $ as a creative entrepreneur ( When X amount is Re👏🏼ve 👏🏼nue 👏🏼)

All this to tell you to have discernment when starting a new venture and I hope to be real for anyone who’s wondering if real exists anymore 😆
