Badges N Bass Brings Law Enforcement and Young Anglers Together 👮🚔🎣
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office - Illinois recently sponsored a special fishing event, Badges and Bass, bringing local law enforcement officers and members of the community together for a day of fishing, fellowship, and fun.
The event was made possible with assistance from the Lake Carroll Security and Fishing Club, whose members helped support the day and shared their knowledge and enthusiasm for fishing.
Badges and Bass provided an opportunity for young anglers to spend time outdoors, enjoy the waters of Lake Carroll, and build positive relationships with members of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Beyond the fishing itself, the event emphasized the importance of community connections and giving local residents an opportunity to experience Lake Carroll and to interact with law enforcement officers in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Events such as Badges and Bass demonstrate what can happen when local organizations work together. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Carroll combined their efforts to create a memorable day.
For everyone involved, Badges and Bass was about more than catching fish—it was about building connections, creating memories, and strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the community they serve. 💙❤
