Join us and look to the stars. Kilo Hōkū STEAM Night with Lānaʻi High & Elementary Foundation is this Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 5:30 pm. It's an evening of stargazing, constellation art, Hawaiian star names and stories, ʻŌlelo Hawai‘i, origami, sky maps and more. Bring the ʻohana and discover the night sky through science, culture and hands-on activities. A light pizza dinner will be provided. E ʻIke Hou Week ✌🏽 Recap: Part 1

The beauty of making imu is that it cannot be done alone. It requires the support of a community to gather supplies, to carry stalks, to stack rocks. It’s the definition of laulima in action — many hands coming together to make light work. And makes the mea ʻai taste that much more ʻono after!
