A friendship that started over gelato. 🍧

Dasha came for the homemade gelato at Broadmoor. One spoonful later, she was hooked.

Somewhere between espresso and dessert, she and Chef Maurizio became the best of friends. He taught her how to make fresh pasta from scratch. She taught him that dancing has just as much rhythm as his kitchen.

Now they’re both convinced the secret ingredient is good food and good footwork.

The rest? That’s still being written… one dance lesson and one bowl of pasta at a time. 🍝💃

Dance. World Cup. Dance. World Cup.

Today’s lesson came with plenty of footwork and even more cheering.

Helen couldn’t stop rooting for Team France between steps with Jonathan. Every break turned into a mini World Cup watch party, complete with plenty of passion and enough team spirit to fill the studio.

The only downside? Team France is heading home.

The upside? We have a feeling Helen will have a brand new favorite team by tomorrow… and we’re fully expecting a fresh outfit in their colors to match.

Our dancers showed up ready to shine, showing off their latest moves and techniques in front of friends and fellow ballroom lovers. From sharpening floor craft to soaking up tips from one of NJ’s best coaches, the energy in the studio was unmatched.

Every great dancer remembers the teacher who helped everything finally click.

On Thursday, July 16, we’re excited to welcome internationally recognized guest coach Eddie Apolonov to Fred Astaire Dance Studios Lambertville for a special evening of learning, growth, and inspiration.

The 6:45 PM Master Class will explore “Transitions in Dance Positions,” one of the most important skills for creating effortless, confident movement on the dance floor. Whether you’re just beginning your dance journey or you’ve been dancing for years, you’ll walk away with techniques you can use immediately.

This class is open to all levels, because great coaching isn’t just about learning new steps. It’s about understanding how to move, connect, and dance with greater confidence.

If you’re looking for even more personalized instruction, Eddie will also be offering a limited number of private coaching sessions. A limited number of sessions still available.
