Join us this July for a 2-Day workshop with Alex Walter! is an award-winning artist that crafts functional and whimsical pieces. In our two day workshop, Alex will guide us through throwing, trimming, and attaching a handle, and then move on to designing and decorating your piece. Have you tried using slip to decorate your pieces? ✨Let us know how it went!
📝Quick Tips
1. Add slip with a brush for texture, with your hand for big globs, and with a syringe for fine details
2. Slip can be added between non-tacky wet and leather dry. If your piece is too wet, you ming ding it. If it's too dry, the slip might flake off.
3. Experiment! Make 3 pieces that are basically the same and try different techniques on each. Knowledge is power💪
