Good Evening, and what an exciting one too!!! I am so happy to announce the Winner to the week-long "name that yarn" contest IN THIS POST! β€
I had so many great choices to pick from, and I read them ALL, oth on my personal fb page and here.π BUT, the moment I read this particular name, I felt like it had just been on the tip of my tounge the whole time but I couldn't put my finger on it!
It described the vibrant blue and the depths of this black ombre perfectly..
The winner for the black and blue ombre yarn is...
πππ "SEASTORM" by Jo Hopgood! πππ Congrats! I LOVE IT! I turned to my husband and read it aloud. I was like, "Omg! Thats it!"
Some honorable mentions were..
"Narnia" by Diane Levesque
"Riptide" by Robin Jones Wilke
And "Pigment of your Imagination" by Renee Sparrow!
Thank you everyone for participating, this was so much fun!
For some odd reason, I cant tag anyone, so I will be PMing Jo Hopgood and the other 3 ladies not tagged in this learnknitpurlhook post.
In the post, renee is the only one I was able to tag, so I DM'd Jo and the other 2 ladies. (:
Congrats Again Jo!
Your prize is a 100% Worsted Wool, hand-dyed hank. This one is a gradual colorway, starting in a deep Burgundy, fading to a Waterlily Green, morphing into a bright Azul Sky, then finishes in a striking Electric Blue.
Thank you for participating everyone! This was so much fun! I would love to hold another contest soon! β
I am continuously astounded by the creativity of this group. I love doing these fun events because they connect me to this amazing group of people who wow the world with their beautiful creations. Keep on Wowing , clickin' away on those needles, and take care. β€
