Day 9 of one painting a day for february!

26.9- Cove
24x36 inches
Aerosol, alcohol inks and acrylics on canvas

Playing a bit of catch up, I have 10 and 11 drying outside and im going to alternate between them today. This one im proud of, I usually don't like doing paintings in a landscape position but this called out as one. Some kind of icy shoreline in a far away place. I am still considering making the "sky" its own color instead of Grey but I also like the kind of mist vibe.

Alrighty so day 10 and 11 will be released tomorrow, ive got 9 most of the way but I have to take a day to reorganize and grab some more supplies, look for that tonight ♥️ here is a section of something that came up while I was working last week, she's been getting a little bit of focus each day and im excited to show off the end when she's ready!

Day 8 of one abstract painting a day for the rest of February

26.8- Shrug

Alright back on track. I was a bit disspointed by the last one, so I ran the process again and figured out where I went wrong. This one is much more in line with the style im going for with this series. I want to find a way to make them a bit more contemporary with wider appeal. I love how this one layered up, the big character emerging out of the background is pretty sweet and I like how the border feels solid in comparison to the forms in the center.
