Thank you, Seasons for hosting the River's Edge Brass Band last night. It is a beautiful, intimate venue to make music in! The band performed a pops and patriotic concert in celebration of America's 250th birthday.

About last night: The River’s Edge Brass Band joined forces with the outstanding young musicians of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Summer Brass Institute for a memorable performance at Armstrong Chapel.

The evening featured two powerful mass fanfares performed by more than 50 brass players, creating an unforgettable sound. A special highlight was the opportunity to accompany guest soloist Anthony Limoncelli, principal trumpet of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, whose artistry captivated the audience.

An inspiring night celebrating the next generation of brass musicians and the joy of making music together. 🎺🎶

On June 4 at 7:00 at Armstrong Chapel, Brasstopia 2.0 - River's Edge Brass Band & Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Summer Brass Institute kicks off with the Strauss "Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare." If you love brass playing you won't want to miss this! Also on the program, a solo performance by Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra principal trumpet Anthony Limoncelli.

For its joint concert with the CSO Summer Brass Institute on June 4 at Armstrong Chapel at 7:00 pm, the River's Edge Brass Band will be joined by principal trumpet player Anthony Limoncelli, who will perform Herman Bellstedt's "La Mandolinata."

Limoncelli is one of the finest principal trumpet players in the country. He received his BM from The Manhattan School of Music, and his Masters from the Juilliard School. He also attended Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. Limoncelli studied with Mark Gould, Raymond Mase, Barbara Butler and Charles Geyer.

Last night the River's Edge Brass Band performed with the Brass Choir in a joint concert. We were honored to accompany in a scintillating performance of "Little Clover." The evening concluded with a beautiful and grand "Elsa's Procession." Thank you CCM Brass Choir for the invitation.
