The summer solstice is a day where we celebrate the light. ✨

That was my intention when I painted this forest.

I wanted the sunlight to be the star of the show.

This piece is more about the sun, than just about the forest, like you might think at first glance.

The sunlight peaking through the trees reminds us to be present.

Come back to this moment, and appreciate the small things.

Like the light coming through the trees. ✨

This painting is titled - Summer Sunlight.

The summer solstice is a celebration of light so I painted this forest with the warm sunlight streaming through the trees to remind you that light and magic can be found anywhere if you look for it. ✨

Limited edition prints are only available June 20th-22nd as a special solstice celebration.

I'm so glad I powered through with this tree painting! 🥰

Yesterday I went into the studio with fresh energy and a fresh canvas.

We had a tornado scare the night before. A tornado touched down very close to our house and caused quite a bit of damage. A tree fell on a house in our neighborhood!

I honestly was just feeling so much gratitude that morning that our house was safe, my family and kitties were all safe, and honestly, the fact that I get to go into the studio and PAINT for work...insane! ✨

It really put things into perspective for me and then this painting came from a place of love and gratitude instead of the frustration I was feeling the night before.

I've created this painting special for the summer solstice.

It's a celebration of light! 🩷

Limited edition prints of this painting will be available tomorrow, and only available for 3 days!

Sometimes it just takes a little perseverance!

So happy I powered through and kept going with this painting. After several failed attempts, I’m super happy with how it turned out!
