Roscoe's Chili Challenge is a supporter for Predator Patrol. All proceed from beer sale are donated to this charity for the children
Predator Patrol takes to the streets, predominantly in low income areas handing our flyers on safety steps, sexual predator lists and information on each offender who may be a threat to the community. Predator Patrol provides "Safe Zone's" during festivals, events and holidays.

One Year Later... The Legend Lives On

Tomorrow, October 11th, marks one year since my father, William "Roscoe" Tomlin, left this world.

For those who knew him, he was larger than life. A storyteller, a biker, a sailor, a dreamer, a friend, and a man who never met a stranger. He had a way of making people laugh, feel welcome, and believe that life was meant to be lived to its fullest.

The past year has been one of reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. Sometimes it's in the roar of a motorcycle engine, the laughter of friends gathered around a fire, the smell of chili cooking, or the sight of a sail catching the wind. In those moments, I feel his presence.

Many of you know that Roscoe wasn't just my dad. He was the inspiration behind Roscoe's Chili Challenge.

What started as a tribute to his adventurous spirit has grown into something much bigger, a family, a community, and a tradition that brings people together year after year.

While the loss of my father has left an emptiness that can never be filled, his legacy continues to live on through RCC Nation, through every friendship made, every story shared, every bike ridden, every hand shaken, and every smile created at this event.

As we approach RCC 2026, I want to ask something of everyone who has supported us over the years:

Let's make RCC 2026 a year to remember.

Let's celebrate louder. Let's laugh harder. Let's help more people. Let's create memories that will last a lifetime.

Let's honor Roscoe the way he would have wanted, by bringing people together and having one hell of a good time doing it.

A year later, I still hear his voice. I still feel his spirit. And I still carry the lessons he taught me.

They say legends never die.

I believe that.

Because every time someone shares a story about Roscoe, every time a motorcycle fires up, every time a bowl of chili is served at RCC, and every time friends gather on our event grounds, his legacy continues.

Tomorrow will be a difficult day, but it will also be a day of gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my family over the past year. Thank you to the RCC crew, our sponsors, volunteers, friends, neighbors, and the entire RCC Nation for helping carry us through one of life's hardest journeys.

Just Days to Go!
We are just days away from the 6th Annual Rally & Ride Out of the Darkness® on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida!
Last year, thanks to our incredible sponsors, Ride Out of the Darkness welcomed nearly 700 riders in the ride line and approximately 3,000 attendees at the rally. Those numbers represent something far bigger than attendance.
Families who felt less alone.
Conversations about mental health that may not have happened otherwise.

September 11: Twenty-Five Years Later

Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, our world changed forever. The events of that day left a lasting mark on our nation, our communities, and our lives. The changes that began in those moments continue to shape the world we live in today.

Change is one thing we cannot stop. It moves forward with or without our permission. But while we may not control whether change comes, we can control the direction it takes. We can choose compassion over hatred, unity over division, and hope over fear.

As we remember those we lost and honor the courage of those who responded, let us also reflect on the responsibility we share. The future is not simply something that happens to us. It is something we help create through our actions, our values, and our commitment to each other.
