Dynamic Balance: Yoga in Symphony was a lovely way to start the beautiful weekend!

Patrons enjoyed music 🎶 and movement 🧘‍♂️ while taking in the sounds of our talented violinist, Christine DeMello Collister as Jana Whiddon from Yoga Pointe led a curated routine and mediation.

Thank you to the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art for hosting us, and to Black & Brew Coffee House & Bistro for providing a special treat for after.

🎶 Our talented friends at Florida Southern College have an upcoming Florida Southern Festival of Fine Arts opera performance on April 10 + 12 that you don't want to miss!

The Impresario (Der Schauspieldirektor) is a brief comic opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart that satirizes the world of opera production. The plot centers on an impresario who is attempting to assemble a new theatrical company, but his efforts are continually disrupted by the vanity, rivalry, and financial demands of the performers—especially two feuding sopranos, Madame Goldentrill and Mademoiselle Silverpeal. Rather than focusing on a traditional romantic storyline, the work humorously exposes the egos and politics behind the scenes, blending spoken dialogue with sparkling musical numbers that showcase Mozart’s wit and insight into theatrical life.
