Student Artists, get your brushes ready!

is a committed member of the local artists community and has been kind enough to offer $1400 in Scholarships to local student artists. They have decided to partner with The Lakeland Arts Association and we are more than thrilled to be apart of the growing association with the local art community.

Prizes:
1st Place - $400
2nd Place - $300
3rd Place - $200
(2) Award of Merit - $100
(6) Honorable Mention - $50

This is a fundraiser show for LAA!

Participation is certainly not required, although we want you to attend and socialize at the opening if you are able to make it.

is kicking off their new gallery space and wanted to do a show featuring our 6 x 6's.
This has been an ongoing project for the Guild and we are now moving the 6 x 6 fundraiser to the Association!

The opening will be a chance for people to buy them at the new price of $35 each.

In addition, we are offering a Silent Auction. Silent auctions are exciting and a great way to raise money!

If you have a piece you'd like to donate, we'd love to have it.

If you already have a 6 x 6 canvas, you are welcome to use that. If you want to participate and would like a canvas, we will give you one.

We hope to see you there!!

When you are in downtown Lakeland, please take a minute to stop into LDDA to see the beautiful Spring show that is now on exhibit. There are some wonderful pieces!

Everyone is invited to be a part of the next LLDA show.

The theme is Spring into Summer and it gives an opportunity to share wonderful summer activities and/or feelings.

No charge for submitting but ribbons will be given out for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention selection.

So pick up your brush, pencil or whatever you use to create art and make something for the April 15 receiving date for LDDA!
