This past Saturday was our 3rd Member Showcase🎉🥳! We are celebrating 3 years in this studio & get to show off what our members have created in the last year at the same time… dare we say…it’s the best time of the year😉! Our members put their favorite piece(s) on display while admiring other’s, plus we always have cake, ice cream, and good conversations for hours on end 👐 It’s a cherished tradition, only open to members and their families and friends due to space. We love everyone who came out to support another year slinging mud in the best studio around 🥰 Here’s to another revolution in the making!

Throwing on the wheel takes a lot of practice, patience, and discipline. That being said, everyone starts somewhere! Centering is hard! Worry not though, because where there is hard work, there is growth 🌱

Take a look at the difference between students’ work in our most recent dig deep class (they have only thrown once or twice) and members’ work in our throwing membership class! Our dig deep students still created unique, functional pottery as they were introduced to centering- and we love to see it💜

Our members, however, get the chance to develop their practice, patience, and discipline because they come to the studio every week to get better and learn more! A little bit of elbow grease and a whole lot of time really changes how you throw 😎

Our studio prioritizes community and progression- we want you to pull your walls as tall as your dreams 🌈⛅️

The Great Owlology sculpture class this past weekend was a HOOT! 🦉 This was 3 days of in-depth instruction to sculpt their own owl-whimsical, realistic, quirky, functional… any style they wanted. And guess HOO did a great job? Absolutely everyone! The smiles alone should tell you what an awesome time we had 🙌

Rachelle Eason, our lovely owner and primary instructor, gave an interview to Voyage Tampa that talks all about her experience with teaching, studio ownership, pottery, other artistic endeavors, and is a nice introduction overall to who runs this studio💜 Rachelle works hard to make Marvelous Mud feel like a tight knit community and she truly puts in a lot of effort to not only focus on weekly education, but to make members feel at home. Come by yourself, with a friend, with family, with a date😉 and learn about beginning pottery techniques as you sculpt your very own bird or bee with guidance from our instructor! 2 big sculpts fresh out of the kiln 🔥 We are obsessed with how our members have really been creating such hot builds🥵 Just by looking at everyone’s pieces all around the studio, we can really see all of the time spent building, detailing, smoothing, and glazing… and yes, we are impressed ☺️
