What a wonderful weekend, as we celebrated our 6th season! We are so grateful to the wonderful artists who joined us in Swan City this year, and to all of our patrons who came to enjoy the concerts and educational events. Have a great summer, and we look forward to seeing you in 2027! ✨🦢🎹

Meet Our Commissioned Composer Nico Gutierrez 🎼

“A young musical promise” (La Vanguardia), Nico Gutierrez is a composer crafting lush, powerful music for both the concert stage and screen. Rooted in his Colombian heritage, his voice blends cultural depth with cinematic scope.
His work has been performed by leading ensembles including the Santa Fe Symphony and Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá, and he has collaborated with major opera companies such as Austin Opera and Fort Worth Opera. A champion of Latin American music, he has served multiple times as composer-in-residence at the Barcelona Festival of Song.
From conducting in Mexico for former president Vicente Fox to composing for A&E, HBO Max, and Netflix, Nico’s career bridges tradition and innovation.

A dynamic soloist and passionate chamber musician, he has collaborated with legendary artists and performed at renowned festivals including Aspen, Santa Fe, and Music in the Vineyards. His recordings span masterworks by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and more.
Beyond the stage, he is the Founder and Artistic Director of the FilAm Music Foundation, championing Filipino classical musicians through performance and education.

Meet Jazz Pianist Per Danielsson🎹

From Stockholm to the global jazz stage—Per Danielsson is a powerhouse pianist, composer, and educator whose artistry spans continents. After studying with legends like Bengt Hallberg and training in the U.S., Per has built an international career as a performer, clinician, and collaborator with icons including Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, and Randy Brecker.

Now Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at UCF and Artistic Director of the American Jazz Pianist Competition, he continues shaping the next generation while performing worldwide. 🎼

🎧 With recordings alongside The Jazz Surge, UCF Jazz Professors, and his own trio, Per’s voice is both deeply rooted and forward-thinking. Meet Jasmin Arakawa 🎹

Hailed by Gramophone for her “characterful sparkle,” pianist Jasmin Arakawa has captivated audiences across the globe—from Carnegie Hall to major stages in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
A prizewinner of the Jean Françaix International Music Competition, she’s performed as soloist with orchestras worldwide and appeared at renowned festivals spanning Spain to Mexico to Peru. Her debut album Klavierabend earned critical acclaim for its “rich lyricism” and “supreme clarity.”
Deeply inspired by her work with Alicia de Larrocha, Arakawa brings a special passion for Spanish and Latin American repertoire—alongside a strong voice in contemporary music.
A dynamic collaborator, educator, and international artist, she currently serves as Professor of Piano at the University of Florida and directs the UF International Piano Festival.
