CINNAMON ROLL CRESCENTS RECIPE: OOEY-GOOEY MORNING TREAT
Ingredients:
1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the crescent roll dough package.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Brush each crescent roll triangle with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
Starting at the wider end of each triangle, roll up the dough tightly.
Place the cinnamon roll crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them to allow for expansion.
Bake in the preheated oven for the time specified on the crescent roll dough package or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
While the cinnamon roll crescents are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Once the crescents are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll crescents.
Serve the ooey-gooey cinnamon roll crescents warm and enjoy!
