We went with a theme yesterday... ICE CREAM! 🍦🤤

​We painted gorgeous ombre backgrounds, sculpted 3D cones with colorful clay, and topped it all off with seed bead "sprinkles"!

Of course, we had to end the day with the real deal sweet treat—ice cream cups! 🍨✨

​Mini coloring pages cut out and taped to straws for puppet-like characters 🧜‍♀️🐢

Nightmare Before Christmas works 12 months of the year!

I’ve been dreaming of this craft all spring, waiting for summer camp to arrive so we could bring our own coral reefs to life! 🪸

​The process was as magical as the result.

Watching the kids work was fascinating—some were meticulous, others were splatter-paint masters, and a few dove in hands-first!

Every approach was different, and it was inspiring to watch them share ideas and encourage each other.

​The best part? The "wait and see" moment. 🤩

They couldn't quite imagine how plain pasta could turn into a reef, but once we pressed the shapes into the clay, the surprise and pride on their faces said it all. 🥰

Definitely a keeper for the summer rotation!
