Year-round programming includes award-winning dramas, comedies, musicals, area premieres, Broadway favorites, children’s shows, international ballets and operas in cinema, live concert series and alternative programming. In addition to its main stage theatrical fare, the Playhouse presents daily independent and foreign films in the Stonzek Theatre, an intimate black-box style theatre equipped with a large viewing screen and high-definition projection.

The show focuses on musical theatre performers who will express their perspectives through personal stories and powerful songs. A group of performers will take the stage, one at a time, sharing stories that have shaped their resilience. Each story will lead into a chosen piece that reflects and reinforces their story through song. Featuring a live accompanist, the show aspires to be moving, concluding with a group performance by the cast.

5:30 PM – 6:45 PM on Wednesdays in the Rehearsal Hall

Tuition: $250

Students will expand their creative toolkit while continuing to hone fundamental performance skills. This class will focus on building skills in internal (inside-out) and external (outside-in) acting methods through a combination of targeted exercises and scene work. Students will develop the ability to create characters through physicality, voice, and by imagining and accessing their character’s inner life. This class is accessible to both new and experienced young actors.
