The LWHS Theatre Department’s production of “The Tin Woman” by Sean Grennan received Alternate to Area at their UIL One Act Play Bi-District Competition on March 28th.

They won Best Overall Technical Crew out of the 6 schools that attended Bi-District.

Cailynn Hernandez won Outstanding Technician for her Makeup Design.

Jasmine Farias-Vidana and Kristian Remsza won All-Star Actors, in their roles as Darla and Hank.

Our public performances of our 40-minute show will be on April 18th and 19th in the LWHS auditorium at 7pm.

We hope to see you there to celebrate these theatre students’ success!

Lake Worth High School’s Theatre Department advances to. Bi-District for their UIL One Act Play, “The Tin Woman”.

Jordan Rhodes-Brown and Destiny Moctezuma won Honorable Mention All Star Cast.

Kristian Remsza won All Star Cast.

Nevaeh Velazquez won Best Technician.

Bi-District Contest is March 28th at Lake Dallas High School. More details to come! 🎭🎭🎭

Come see our high schoolers perform their OAP “The Tin Woman” by Sean Grennan at Argyle High School at 11am. Get there early, they lock the doors as soon as the performance starts!

Just a couple of our favorite Troupe #1245 photos from the Thespian Festival. We learned so much at the workshops, received excellent ratings for the monologue and duet scene contests that three of our students competed in, saw awe-inspiring and crazy talented performances by other high school students, and are so excited to do this again (hopefully) every year in the future! Thank you Texas Thespians for putting together such a wonderful conference for students and teachers alike. We will never forget this weekend.
