In 2008, the film "Be Kind Rewind" spawned a subculture of Internet videos in which regular people re-make Hollywood films with no money. These no-budget remakes are called “swedes.” Most of them are bad – as in “bad movies by good people,” our tagline. Your favorite film festival full of faux filmmakers is going to head up a gen-u-ine juried competition of independent films and it's gonna be...fantastic, phenomenal and filled with fun (and any other family-friendly "f" adjective you could imagine). There will be a chance to hobnob with local and visiting filmmakers during a *swanky meet-and-greet on the **red carpet. Prizes! Comedy! And of course...YOUR BAD MOVIES! Want details?
