Today’s Arts for Veterans creative writing workshop featured an extra blessing! We welcomed Navy veteran and author, to the class, where he did an impromptu book signing and Q&A for his book The Invisible People!

Thank you Jeremy for sharing so much knowledge about self publishing, and for joining our creative writing workshop. We are looking forward to future classes and what we can create together!

Our phenomenal Hostess with the Mostest, Jeanette Brown, completely set the stage on fire for an unforgettable Open Mic night at Venue at 1201 (Common Ground Community Development)!

We had a packed house last night and a great lineup of local talent. From soulful musicians and powerful poets to laugh-out-loud comedians and mind-bending magicians, the energy in the room was electric!

🎭 An Invitation for Our Veterans: Come Laugh, Connect, and Create! 🎭

To all veterans! Join our Improv class, free to veterans, taught by Laura Graham and Caleb Williams. Graham explains that it’s a fun evening in a low-key, friendly environment, an opportunity to learn some acting skills and create comedic scenes.
