One of the most meaningful moments of our Season 16 finale had nothing to do with the music, and everything to do with the people who make the Stone Pier what it is. 💙💙

This season we decided to present a Bree Schwaller Spirit Award to the supporter who shows up with the heart, the energy, and the pure joy that Bree brought to every single show: John & Deb Snyder.

Thank you John and Deb for everything you do for this community and this concert series. And thank you to the Schwaller family for allowing us to honor Bree's memory in a way that is as joyful and spirited as she always was. 🎶

💙Sixteen seasons in and the Stone Pier Concert Series still surprises us.

Sunday's storm took out tents, poured on tarped equipment and tested everyone's patience...but it couldn't touch what happened Monday afternoon at Black Hawk Lake.

Little Hopes and Taylor Hunnicutt stuck around and made every minute worth the wait. Our sound techs moved mountains behind the scenes. And this community showed up the way it always does.

To these bands, our crew, and the best crowd in Iowa, we thank you for being you. 💙🎶

Happy Labor Day! Yep, there are some morning showers lurking, but setup is happening and food trucks have arrived. Grab yourself some lunch and as soon as those skies are clear, we'll be ready to rock.🤘

And while you're making your Labor Day plans, Lake View has even more going on tomorrow! The George Washington Memorial Forest Rededication Ceremony is happening at Lake Arrowhead at 2PM with light refreshments at the Lake View Library at noon. History, community, live music, and delicious eats all in one day! Try to take in a little bit of everything before we close out the summer together at the Pier. How lucky are we? 💙🎶
