Miko or Kitsune in disguise? Today’s cosplay/ appreciation worn to Redding’s Anime-con

A miko is a shrine maiden in the Shinto religion and a kitsune is known as a fox spirit that can shape-shift into human. It’s said that young kitsune have a harder time learning to control their shifting abilities so their fox-like traits are more noticeable than a master 9 tail fox that has no issue in human transformation. There are many different lores on whether kitsune are good or bad, but I suggest it depends on the lore itself. The god Inari is the god of foxes that can be depicted as male or female and the main shrine to Inari is the Fushimi Inari-taisha in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto.
